Poems and fairy tales have an ancient role in the mother tongue education of preschool-aged children and in developing their sense of beauty. In the volume, parents and kindergarten teachers can easily find the poems and nursery rhymes that are closely related to children's development: simple, nursery rhyme-like tales consisting of sound-imitating puns and plot repetitions, fairy tales, bait tales.

It is well known how important a role poetry and fairy tales play in the mother tongue education of preschool-aged children and in the development of their sense of beauty. For many years, our publisher has been helping parents and kindergarten teachers with educational and psychologically thought-out anthologies so that they can easily find the poems and nursery rhymes that are closely related to children's development. Icinke-picinke contains Hungarian folk tales for preschoolers. Children really like simple, nursery rhyme-like stories consisting of sound-imitating puns and action repetitions, fairy tales, and bait tales. Ethnographer Ágnes Kovács compiled the material of the volume, taking into account the collections and processing of the last hundred years, the treasure of folk tales for young children, which she organized while paying attention to the needs of the kindergarten age groups. Károly Reich's high-quality, childishly cheerful illustrations make it easier to illustrate the tales.
