Djeco Board Game Classic - Snakes and Ladders - Snake and ladders
The centuries-old board game "Snakes and Ladders" has survived through the ages. Its origins are attributed to India, but it was already known and loved in other cultures in antiquity. Its essence has remained the same in every era: to experience the roles of morality and luck during play. The ladder squares (which let you move up) symbolized morally good choices, while the snakes (which make you slide down) represented bad decisions and misfortune.
The goal of the game is to get from the bottom square to the top one, while the player moves their pawn according to the rolled numbers — either advancing or sliding back, depending on their luck.
In Djeco’s child-friendly version, a little penguin moves toward safety, luckily avoiding the dangers that lie in wait.
