Móra from here to Óperencián, beyond Óperencián

Once upon a time there was a great storyteller who was born exactly a hundred years ago. His name was Balázs Lengyel. From here on, the author's own tales await us in Óperencia about the adventures of the golden hamster, the striped-backed piglet and the white-starred hedgehog, as well as the meeting of the little boy who could see into people's hearts and the wise king. In addition to Óperencia, we find six short animal tales from different parts of the world. This time, we can read one English, two Icelandic and three Angolan folk tales in Balázs Lengyel's excellent translation.
The title of the volume may be familiar to many: in 1985, a more extensive selection of the writer-translator's tales was published by Móránál with drawings by István Molnár. The new centenary edition was illustrated by his graphic designer daughter, Jacqueline Molnár.
