Playforever Ufo toy car - Leonessa
In the 1960s, supercars were sensual, hammered aluminum shells, with supermodel curves and organic shapes that looked as if they had been carved from marble. But in Italy, a new generation of designers were working all day on radical new ideas that seemed straight out of the future. Thus began the era of the unworldly concept cars of the 1970s, which were basically wedges on wheels, all angles and edges, with skin stretched between them. The roof was lowered to the level of the windowsill, you were practically sitting on the floor, the windshields and hoods were flush. Always with a V12 beast that felt like it was roaring right behind your head. Many of these concepts have been forgotten by most people, but one became a poster on every boy's wall in the 1980s. It's hard to underestimate the impact these cars have had on popular culture, not just in automotive exteriors, but in sci-fi movies, fighter jets, speedboats, and many other recognizable forms in our lives. UFO is a celebration of big dreams and radical change.
