"After the creation of the world, a beautiful fairy princess descended to the top of Mount Firtos. Many other fairy girls descended with her, and they decided to build a castle. The fairy princess's name was Firtos. But she had another evil sister, named Tartod: she envied Firtos, because she was much more beautiful than she was.
"Even though you are tired, I will build a much more beautiful castle by midnight tonight. I will build it on the foundation stone of your castle, whether you like it or not, Firtos," said Tartod.
Firtos laughed at this speech, the fairies laughed too, and then they diligently saw it as work. Tartod went home to the mountain called Tartod, and only waited for it to be finished; well, he flew with his fairies to Mount Firtos, they stretched out the foundation stone of the castle, drilled it, pulled it onto an iron rod, and so they flew with it towards Mount Tartod. But when they arrived just above Korund, the roosters crowed at midnight, the iron rod broke in two, the stone fell into the waters of Korund. It is still there now. When the stone fell, Tartod's castle collapsed too. Not a single trace of its fame remained.”
