Mora®
From its founding in 1950 until the change of regime, Móra Könyvkiadó was the sole intermediary of children's and youth literature, laying the foundations of modern Hungarian children's literature.
It operated as a defining intellectual workshop; it placed great emphasis on the literary and aesthetic education of the target age group. It was a publisher of quality books and family books, both in terms of content and in their exhibition. At first, it published only works of fiction, but later, by founding several editorial offices, it also produced popular books, and it also published an increasing number of works by foreign authors. Countless distinguished writers, poets, and the most famous visual artists of the time worked with the publisher, which published many books and series that are still known and read today.
